CEDAR DECKS
PINE DECKS
Both pine and standard “white wood” lumber work well for deck construction. Pressure treated pine is dense and strong costing less than other options. It is a great choice for bigger decks and smaller budgets. Paint will increase the longevity of a pine deck to some extent but cannot give the same results as cedar.
VINYL DECKS
Vinyl decks are a great choice for a higher-level deck that needs to be waterproof. We use 5/8” select plywood and 68ml vinyl to finish our decks. All vinyl decks come with a 10 yr 100% waterproof warranty. We also repair vinyl decks on a regular basis. Vinyl waterproofing creates a great storage area under the deck!
COMPOSITE DECKS
Composite is probably the best material from which to build a deck from. It is extremely hard-wearing, scratch and fade resistant and maintenance free. Various collections to choose from and beautiful color combinations.
