Sunroom – Thermally broken aluminum with insulated panel walls. Double glazed glass windows. Vinyl structure with double glazed glass windows

Patio covers – Aluminum frames with aluminum or wood posts and beams

Pergolas – Cedar or custom stained Fir

Q. What is the slope of a patio cover?

The slope is usually ½” per ft

Q. What colors can I choose from?

For patio covers: White or black aluminum frames for patio covers cost the same. Any other color is custom powder coated at an extra cost.

Sunrooms frames are white but can be powder coated to a custom color at extra cost. Wood can be stained to the desired color.

Composite – We offer a variety of colors from TimberTech

Vinyl – We offer 68 ml vinyl in a variety of wood, stone and classic styles. we have nice sized samples to visualize on your surface.

Q. How much snow can the patio covers or sunrooms take on?

They can hold approximately 40-50 lbs per square ft. Depending on the location, the structural design will vary to comply with the requested load in that area.

Q. Does a vinyl deck require maintenance?

Virtually maintenance-free, a vinyl deck only needs a quick wash a few times a year with soap and water. Avoid chemical products to extend the life of your vinyl. Check out our blog for tips.

Q. What is powder coated aluminum?

Powder coating is a process to apply color to metal. It is one of the most economical, long-lasting, and most color-durable quality finishes available on virtually any type of metal. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes.

Q. What brand of composite do you install?

We use the TimberTech PRO collections: Better style and performance than competitive composites, enhanced by the most mold – and moisture – resistant cap.

Q. What kind of waterproof vinyl do you install?

We install 68 ml thick Valordek vinyl that is made of PVC with UV screens and stabilizers to prevent cracking, embrittlement and decoloration. It has been tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -40 C to 80 C.

Q. Can your aluminum structures support strong winds?

Yes. Aluminum patio covers and sunroom structures can resist gusts of wind up to 100 km/h equivalent to a Category 1 hurricane. British Columbia has very rarely been hit by hurricanes or tornados.
